Public Transport Design Guidance (PTDG) peer review
ViaStrada was engaged to review part of the Public Transport Design Guidance (PTDG) that dealt with bus stops. Previous experience managing bus stop infrastructure in Christchurch and Palmerston North city councils helped our staff perform an informed review on bus stop design.

In his previous role at Palmerston North City Council in 2009, John Lieswyn developed guidelines for the design and location of bus stops around the city's bus routes. Later, when seconded back to PNCC in 2017-19, John updated those guidelines to reflect changes in best practice.
