Whakatāne Neighbourhood Greenways

To support the Active Whakatane Strategy's network objectives, ViaStrada prepared concept designs and visualisations for eight streets.

Working with partners DCM Urban for visualisations including video simulated flyovers, the team prepared three options for each of the eight streets. The work included turning path analyses, consideration of driveways, street trees, kerb alignments, and stormwater. The deliverables included comprehensive P50 level cost estimates and an easy-to-use summary table.
