ViaStrada can help public and private organisations & businesses to review their vehicle parking needs to accommodate ever-changing demands by visitors, customers, staff, and other users. We can propose various layout options for parking areas, while also considering access and egress arrangements too. Our designs look to incorporate clear tracking paths for a wide range of vehicle types, including trucks, buses, recreational/towing vehicles, and cars.
Our work also encompasses reviews of parking demand and occupancy, through field surveys, and assessment of District Plan parking provisions to ensure that new or changed parking proposals meet Council requirements. We also consider bicycle parking provision and have undertaken studies on potential hubs for these, as well as developing best-practice guidance for bike parking installation.
