Background

The Client aims to provide additional bicycle and micro-mobility parking, additional showers and lockers comprising the proposed End of Trip (EoT) facilities within an existing building at 70 Gloucester Street, Christchurch. ViaStrada, as experts in designing for sustainable transport, were engaged to deliver design advice regarding the safety of people walking, cycling and using micro-mobility to access the EoT facilities, and movement by all modes at the access point, ramp and Level 1 parking area.

ViaStrada also provided advice on bicycle and scooter parking to Spaceworks (the client’s architect) regarding the layout of the EoT facilities.
Nicki Mackie of Coastal CAD assisted us by providing vehicle tracking.
