As a result of significant funding announced for the Urban Cycleways Programme, the New Zealand transportation industry must respond to an increased emphasis on delivering cycling projects. ViaStrada and the Transport Agency are working together to deliver a series of one-day seminars giving an overview of the current context of cycle programming in New Zealand. The seminars are aimed at programme managers and project managers from local government and consultancies, key stakeholders and key advocates and are being held in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.
