How is speed management planned and implemented in NZ these days? How are cycleway designs developed and applied here, especially when integrated with traffic routes? These were some of the questions that the Canterbury/Westland District Council of the NZ Automobile Association wanted to know more about.
Glen Koorey gave a brief presentation on these topics, and answered the many questions and comments posed by the Council members. It helped them to better understand some of the technical aspects involved with and current issues facing these important matters.
