ViaStrada will have seven participants in “Le Race” at the end of March. It’s a 100 km ride from Christchurch to Akaroa and there are some genuine hills on the way!
Here are four of us out training one Thursday – another hard day at the office! Left to right – Helen, Ben, Axel and Andrew. Others also competing are Andrew (Fitzgerald) and Warren. The two Andrews and Axel will be riding as a relay team while the others will compete individually.
We don’t expect to bring home the silverware but we do intend to have a good time – and the training up on the Port Hills is a blast.
