During 2017, ViaStrada joined Trafinz, the New Zealand Local Authority Traffic Institute. Whilst we obviously aren't a local authority, Trafinz is a principal champion for road safety initiatives, and that makes them a logical partner for us. The snag, however, has always been that their corporate membership fees were affordable only for large corporates. We pointed this out to them and they very swiftly added a membership class for smaller outfits. Good on them, and we are now a happy new member.
