Greendale Road subdivision Safe System Audit

Through their development consultant DLS, Cressy Properties Limited engaged ViaStrada to conduct a preliminary design stage Safe System Audit for a proposed 500 lot subdivision in Darfield. The audit was carried out in accordance with the 2022 Safe System audit guidelines established by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency. This important step ensures the proposed development aligns with district plan requirements and integrates key road safety principles from the outset.

ViaStrada identified a range of minor improvements to better connect the future homes to the surrounding pathways and interim treatment ideas for intersections that are to be further developed in future.
