Papanui Road at St Andrew’s College mid-block crossing audit

ViaStrada was commissioned to conduct a detail design stage road safety audit of the proposed mid-block signalised pedestrian crossing on Papanui Road at St Andrew’s College. This includes a site visit and design plan analysis.

The audit identified a range of opportunities to enhance pedestrian safety at the proposed crossing site. Recommendations were provided to improve traffic signal operation and, geometric design and alignments.
