Background
Stage 1 (Mar 2014 – Jul 2015):
ViaStrada performed a design audit of multiple cycle route sections between Ngauranga and Petone, including on-road and off-road sections, shared paths, exclusive cycle paths, on-road lanes and various intersection treatments.
Stage 2 (Jul 2015 – Nov 2015):
Stage 2 included safety advice based on a multi-criteria analysis of nine design options.
