Background
Christchurch City Council received an application to construct and operate an entrance building, café and expansion of the sculptural garden’s tourist activity. ViaStrada was commissioned to peer review the applicant’s Transport Assessment. ]
The application went to an independent commissioner, with ViaStrada presenting at the hearing. Most of the transport issues had been resolved beforehand through close collaboration with the applicant’s transport planner.
