Background
ViaStrada was sub-contracted to design midblock signals for a state highway site in Hamilton’s suburb Glenview. The signals were to accommodate a new bus interchange. Design challenges included the site being close to the rural-urban boundary.
ViaStrada’s team provided a design that was accepted by the road controlling authorities involved. Our team also assisted the main consultant (our partners at Urban Connection) with some more complex traffic engineering tasks.
