Background
ViaStrada was commissioned by the client to complete two Road Safety Audits (RSAs) for a proposed new subdivision off Roberts Road in Hei Hei, Christchurch.
The preliminary design stage audit report (in early 2025) considered the general proposed roading and path layout, intersection layout and cross sections. It was conducted in accordance with the NZTA Safe System Audit Guidelines (2022). Following this, a further audit report was prepared for Stage 1 of the detailed design in early 2026.
