This presentation introduces the basic terminology of noise with particular reference to the performance standards in District Plans. Russell Malthus was asked by the conference organisers to prepare this overview for the benefit of the attending Environmental Health Officers from around NZ.
The presentation led into afternoon workshops on pre-school noise and the updating of NZ standards.
