The benefits of speed management

In January 2021, ViaStrada hosted an online industry webinar on speed management, attracting more than 50 people. During the first part of the presentation, Glen Koorey discussed the several benefits of speed management, both in terms of safety (crash likelihood/severity reduction) and non-safety (noise, environment, community amenity, etc). He then introduced some potential tactics for implementing speed management in your district, including physical measures, community engagement, and targeting the "low hanging fruit" first.
After the presentation, great questions were raised by the audience, and we attempted to answer them all, hopefully to the satisfaction of the participants.
