Tuesday Club, Christchurch, July 2023
Axel was invited to speak about “free public transport” to the Tuesday Club , the weekly meeting of an eclectic mix of people convened by former mayor Garry Moore. This was a long presentation (45 minutes) with much audience interaction. It’s been recorded, but not with the usual high-quality camera – the videographer was away, unfortunately.
Garry concluded: “Axel’s kicked the box that I was standing on from underneath me. The thing that I’ve always enjoyed with Axel is that he challenges us, he’s thought the thing through properly, with social justice and environmental balance in what he is saying, which is terrific.”
The presentation slides are on our website and a video of the presentation is hosted on Facebook. Note that the presentation starts about 5 min into the recording.
