Te Pūtahi, Christchurch's Centre for Architecture & City Making, recently held the latest in their series of Christchurch Conversations on "Our Neighbourhoods Need Better Streets". This seminar explored the potential of streets to transform our neighbourhoods and improve their liveability and sustainability.

A series of speakers gave brief presentations of examples from Christchurch and elsewhere about how to produce people-friendly streets, followed by a panel discussion. You can watch the video from the evening here.

ViaStrada's Glen Koorey was one of the speakers, introducing the audience to some of the design levers for improving the liveability of our streets, as well as some of the research behind them. You can view the presentation here.
