The 2016 2WALKandCYCLE Conference will be held in Auckland. Further details are yet to be announced.

The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia is holding its 2016 conference at Sky City Conference Centre, Auckland, from 22 - 25 June 2016. More information and registration can be found on the website.

The Intelligent Infrastructure Summit will "... bring together innovators and thought-leaders from the utilities and transport sectors, creating mutually beneficial long-term relationships for the future of New Zealand." The Summit is being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Auckland, from 13 - 14 June 2016.

The New Zealand Planning Institute is holding its 2016 Conference at the Dunedin Town Hall from 12 - 15 April 2016. You can find out more by visiting their website.

The 2016 IPENZ Transportation conference is being held in Auckland. Registration will open in late 2015.

The world cycling conference is, once again, in our neck of the woods. Taipei in Taiwan is a bit further away than 2014's conference in Adelaide.

ViaStrada is offering four days of training covering Planning and Design for Walking and for Cycling, hosted by Auckland Transport at their Manukau offices.

The ViaStrada office will close on Wednesday 23rd December and reopen on Tuesday 5th January.

As a result of significant funding announced for the Urban Cycleways Programme, the New Zealand transportation industry must respond to an increased emphasis on delivering cycling projects. ViaStrada and the Transport Agency are working together to deliver a series of one-day seminars giving an overview of the current context of cycle programming in New Zealand.
